Exciting News! Sainsbury’s Are Stocking Vinyl Records!

Oh my oh my oh my! The unstoppable demand for vinyl has got Sainsbury’s stocking it on their shelves this month!! Oh I hope it will have the artwork on the sleeves like in the ‘olden’ days 😉 I have recently purchased an ION turntable and nipped to Lady Heyes, Kingsley where there is a little record shop.  I needed to try it out as my old vinyl collection is at my mum’s house! So I bought this…

I used to sing ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ on most gigs, as it always went down well.   My favourite song off this album is …

Great Song!! Love the piano, melody and the changes in mood and rhythm. And of course Dusty’s voice!

Vinyl will be available in 171 stores across the UK and marks the biggest commitment to date to the resurgent format and sees Sainsbury’s secure the greatest number of vinyl outlets on the high street for a single retailer. To support the launch, a Crosley Cruiser Turntable will also be available in store for £80. Woohoo!

Anyway folks here is the list of albums that are going to be available in Sainsbury’s.  I’m going to get my hands on the Stone Roses, most definitely.  One of my favourite bands…
